Full stars afterwards. Been there a couple of times and always enjoyed it. Attentive service, nice atmosphere, good food and above all - good beer.

Nice staff, fantastic home brewed beer and the best sauerbraten in a long time! The dumplings are typically Upper Franconian. Slipping down like oil.

What you need to know: ONE bier is brewed onsite and available to order and enjoy. Prepare yourself for what might very well be a taste adventure! Also available are biers from Monchshof available in bottle and on tap - on tap being always the freshest and best way to taste and enjoy bier (so long as they clean the lines, which they clearly do here). Wonderful taste experience, I just wish they made it clear upfront which bier is brewed there by them on the menu, and that they provided a little info about that bier. Also, not all serving staff even knew what the bier there was all about! Hence the 4 stars for what would otherwise be a 5 star mini-micro-brew delight.

Delicious beer and food, typically Bavarian! The restaurant is also easily accessible and nicely decorated.

Didn't have a special moment while visiting. The goose breast is neither crispy nor juicy. I couldn't enjoy the food.

Stayed here for dinner. The in-house beer unfortunately had a very distinct diacetyl bad taste. Unfortunately, my main course was completely covered with a ready-made sauce that tasted so intense that the dish itself unfortunately went under completely. The side salad is positive, it was very good and fresh. For the unfortunately proud prices considering the quality of the food, unfortunately not recommended, the atmosphere is very cozy and inviting.

Great food and staff wear German traditional clothes.

Food OK but nothing special. We had duck and pork knuckles. To our taste was in the red cabbage too much cinnamon and the sauerkraut overcooked. My salad was forgotten. Service took. About 15 minutes until we were asked for drinks and got a Spies card.

We passed by this place for lunch. Food was quiet good, the local dumplings were not quiet to my liking but in general the meat and sauce was perfect. When there in the region you should try this place out.

For it is an enrichment of the Coburg inns. As it belongs to a brewery, short but good menu. The food tasted very good and was hot, not as another user writes. Operation friendly and fast. However, only 4 * because the seating is unfortunately a bit too tight for me. I do not like it that way, but it also supports the brewhouse charm where you can meet other people.

This is how a brewery has to be, quaint and cozy. Delicious beer and super hearty food. Very friendly staff.

Food is always delicious and the staff is attentive and kind. Those who like good home cooking will get their money's worth here.

Typical style restaurant, with attention to detail. Very nice and fast staff, unfortunately they only speak German and without an interpreter it is also difficult to order. The menu is in the local dialect so even translator doesn't work well. Excellent lager beer, tasted with real pleasure

A small place with a traditional Bavarian fleur and local cusine, which was mostly ok , but for the Klöße which were absolutely AWFUL ? Like something from the potato powder, slimy and plain...
